Cville Stories is a vibrant personal storytelling event where we share true stories around a theme from our selected storytellers in front of a live audience.
The show is produced by Barbara Fornoff, who has told stories with Better Said Than Done, Story District, and here in Charlottesville with Big Blue Door and Celebration of Tales.
Our show is in the style of The Moth, and we tell true personal stories that are themed, with time limits, no notes and no props. We do include some folk and fairy tales from time to time as long as they mesh with our theme.
The Crozet Gazette did a feature article on Cville Stories.
Cville Stories also does story swaps and storytelling classes. We will post info here when there's an event.
