Cville Stories is a vibrant personal storytelling event where you will have an opportunity to share your story and to hear some amazing stories from our selected storytellers. In 2025 we held five themed shows and are ready for more great storytelling in 2026!
This show is produced by Barbara Fornoff, who has told stories with Better Said Than Done, Story District, and here in Charlottesville with The Big Blue Door and Celebration of Tales. Our show is in the style of The Moth, and our stories are true personal stories that are themed, with time limits, no notes and no props. We do include some folk and fairy tales as long as they mesh with our theme.
